Session Notes: THE MENTAL GAME DAY
My month isn’t going as planned — note to self : the cards don’t care about your plans. It’s hard not get down when u don’t win and that’s were the mental game comes in.
After a marathon session where bad situations kept repeating themselves and a whole day of second guessing myself I’m trying not start tripping. I’m trying to beat the smallest no-limit game in the house and I guess I expect to win automatically.
1:00 PM Start ……
2:00 AM Quit ……
The other thing is it’s hard to gauge whether the games are bad or you’re running bad or you’re playing bad. The most logical assumption is it’s a little bit of all three. The concept of being in a bad 1-2 game hasn’t really occurred to me but that’s what’s happening because everybody has been educated about the game.
Everybody looks at me crazy when they see me playing 1-2 No limit cuz it is the smallest game. I could go into why I drop down and play that game but I won’t. Let ‘em keep looking at me like I’m crazy.

Has it ever occurred to you, that you might not be that good at poker?
yeah that has occurred to me … and it took me a second to figure out a reply. I”m trying to do a number of different things well and I’m feeling the effects of that. I’m working on a blog (both programming and writing) and working on completing an album (which might be the first of its kind) and trying to gamble for a living on top of that. Either way I’m probably better than you (lol).
