the games are always going to meet mistakes. you should always be able to find an edge getting the money and yes the games will get harder. just is the 1 2 games has gotten vastly more difficult to stack fish. whens last time you saw someone get it all in pre with a AJ ...it just doesn't happen anymore. yes you have to come to find your edge in other ways yes the players going to get better. the ppl in the game r going to get to know you better too.

I don’t want to go into hands …. I don’t want to educate the poker audience anymore than they already do themselves at the table …. discussing poker only makes the game harder and lets them into your thought process which is exactly what players want to know so they can prey upon that …..
I don’t talk about hands with other players or read books …… I pretty much know that most of my mistakes come from discipline or a lack thereof or bad beats …… I pretty much rely on my experience which is my edge of most of the players I’m playing with …. In the end though you have to make some
hands and have them hold up ….. when that’s not happening poker is a brutal game ….. good luck at the tables

yeah that has occurred to me … and it took me a second to figure out a reply. I”m trying to do a number of different things well and I’m feeling the effects of that. I’m working on a blog (both programming and writing) and working on completing an album (which might be the first of its kind) and trying to gamble for a living on top of that. Either way I’m probably better than you (lol).

Hey Joe,
Been a fan of the blog and the tracks you have up for a while now. Quick request/suggestion... just thinking that it would be great if you provided more detail on your sessions. Throw in a couple interesting/deep hands and some your thought process during, some evaluation afterwards. I know most players wouldn't want that kind of detail out there... but you seem comfortable enough sharing your results, and I'm sure that >99% of the players you play against aren't going to exploit your play based on anything you post here. I really think it would help your traffic too, as most of your target audience is probably people who would love to read more detail about the hands your playing.. Just a thought! Also I'd like to hear about what kind of work you do away from the tables to improve your game, especially during a bad stretch like it sounds like you're going through now (btw, they happen to best, keep your head up!). Curious to know if you talk about hands with other players or online or just prefer to read some poker books or whatever...

i have respect for ur game...but calling 30 preflop in a 3 way pot with k8H is not the best plan for a long term pro poker player..granted i might have been drunk at the time..maybe that's why u got the table change..
